About the Training
The Advanced Child Abuse Investigation training is designed to improve law enforcement’s response to incidents of child abuse and neglect, particularly child sexual abuse and exploitation. This training combines the most up-to-date interviewing and investigative techniques with the knowledge needed to ensure full victim restoration through the use of multidisciplinary teams.
Several organizations and agencies involved in investigating crimes against children have created specialized forms for these investigations that help streamline the investigation process and increase paperwork efficiency. The Advanced Child Abuse Investigation Training Program has copies of many of these forms available for law enforcement use. If your organization has a sample form you would like the program to include in this list, please contact the Program Manager.
